The wedding was a small, family ceremony held at a charming bed-and-breakfast in Statesville. As most people know, Kip enlisted in the Navy Reserves in August and the couple was planning an April wedding. The Navy, however, changed those plans when Kip received activation orders. From February to November, 2007, Kip will be serving in Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Not wanting to wait until Kip returned home next year, they rushed and put together a wedding now with only a few weeks preparation. The ceremony was simple and quaint, but also very intimate and beautiful.
We would like to thank the following people who helped put this wedding together on such short notice. Without their assistance, it would not have been possible.
We extend a special thanks to our family members who dropped everything and flew to North Carolina.

Kelly Dillon served as our photographer and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. The service was held at the Clichy Inn in Statesville and you can see from the photos what a beautiful job they did hosting the wedding.
